His first likely purchase, he said, was a season ticket at Anfield or, failing that, a set-top box and pay-TV subscription, so that he could watch his beloved Liverpool F.C. from the comfort of his armchair. Also on his wish list, he said, were a holiday property in Tenerife for his parents, trips to Disney World and Australia (where his sister lives) and a donation to Macmillan Cancer Research.
